1. Unbox and Power On : Unbox your Netgear WiFi extender and plug it into a power outlet close to your router. Wait for the Power LED to turn green.
2. Connect to the Extender : On your computer or mobile device, go to your WiFi settings and connect to the extender’s default network name (SSID). This network will usually be something like “NETGEAR_EXT”.
3. Access the Setup Page : Open a web browser and enter “www.mywifiext.net” into the address bar. This will take you to the Netgear extender setup page. If this URL doesn’t work, try using “192.168.1.250”.
